We Were Falling like dominoes!

First I got sick... then Nicole... now Misty, our Brooks Institute intern. ! My sweet mother must have brought something from Texas when she came to visit two weeks ago. Everything is bigger there and it hit us hard!

Taken by a man walking by on the street

New York always inspires me! But last weekend when I was there to be interviewed for The Early Show (my participation in this season's The Amazing Race), I reconnected with an old friend, top model and new hot photographer Elle Muliarchyk who is beautiful inside and out! Her new passion is photography and she has completely inspired me! Check out her guerrilla style project from inside designer changing rooms: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtAJY4spSVw - Related videos -

"Man on a Wire"

Ethan had just seen "Man on a Wire" and he is
attempting to walk the fence on one foot.

Nicole wishes she had worn higher heels.

Just another day of having fun

I think I told them "No More Photos"
or maybe they were just trying to touch the ceilling...
I can't remember but we were having a good time...

Dog wears hat!

This dog just wasn't working with me!
I was asking for a lot of energy and he gave me a little attitude...
I hate when models do that.

Welcome to the Marcy Maloy Photography Blog!

Marcy Maloy is an advertising photographer based in San Francisco. Her signature style of capturing lively, spontaneously real moments has developed over more than 25 years of experience shooting.

These days, she's well-known for her work with babies and kids. On set she may be playing silly songs on the boombox to stir up some laughs from the youngsters or whispering quiet lullabies to calm the tiniest of models. When all else fails, there's the infamous fart machine (it's always at the very top of every shoot's equipment list).

Hopefully this blog will bring readers the stories behind Marcy's images. If you've seen her website: www.marcymaloy.com you've probably noticed the Behind the Scenes portfolio. While these are most definitely a fun inside peek at some of the more "unscripted" moments on set, we thought it was time to let you all in on some of the more entertaining stories behind the images.

Stay tuned!
